After months of training in the rain, sleet and occasional sun one of our senior creatives Phill Davis took on the 2012 Virgin London Marathon, a gruelling 26 mile run around London.

Phill braved the 26 miles in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, which provides world-class care for cancer patients and pioneering work in cancer research. Phill, ran the marathon to say thank you to the hospital, who treated his wife when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2010.

“I wanted to repay The Royal Marsden for their great work and with the support of friends, family and everybody at Gilroy I was able to raise an amazing £4,313, which is way beyond the amount that I thought I would be able to raise when I started the training,” said Phill.

I am sure you will all join us and congratulating Phill on his achievement. If anyone wants to donate please feel free to visit Phill’s sponsorship page.
